Frequently Asked Questions

Help! I've never done yoga / Pilates before (or it's been a while)
Congratulations for just thinking about coming to yoga / Pilates! Trying new things takes courage and often takes us out of our comfort zone. If you're new to yoga / Pilates (or it's been a while) - allow yourself to be gentle. Everything taught is completely optional in a yoga / Pilates class, you never have to do anything you don't want to do.
When you book in / practice with us for the first time, arrive a few minutes early and your teacher will have a chat with you about the class and what to expect. Know that however much or little of the class you do - you're doing yoga / Pilates. Even if you lay down on the mat for the entire duration of the class and just breathe - you're doing yoga / Pilates.
